Our organisation, Truth Aksahum, is extremely pleased with our direct involvement in getting the account closed. The clear information that our writers and research volunteers found and presented on this blog, spread on social media and to the press was a major motivating factor for Triodos to close the account. We would also like to thank the numerous partner NGO's and organisations for their steadfast support and dedicated resources that they invested in this project. Lastly but not least, our army of volunteers that gave selflessly of their time, who are spread across the EU and speak many languages who came together flawlessly to achieve this positive outcome.
It is a testiment of the integrity and professionalism of the ECB that they also helped enforce EU financial regulations regarding offering banking services to terrorist organisations.
We are still driven and determined to ensure other organisations like Aksahum do not abuse our open society and trusting values to help fund terrorism and murder innocent people. While this is just one of our projects, we will continue, with the help of our volunteers, to eradicate terrorism in all its forms from European soil.
